C/ Castillo de Alarcón Nº 49, 28692 - (Villanueva de la Cañada) - Madrid;

Mr. Luis Julián Fernández-Vera Director OTRI (Research Management)

University Camilo José Cela (UCJC), whose corporate name is Centro de Enseñanza Universitaria SEK, S.A., is a private entity belonging to the SEK Educational Institution, based in Villanueva de la Cañada, Community of Madrid (Spain), founded in 2000.
University Camilo José Cela has two campuses in Madrid, one in Almagro Street, in the heart of Madrid, and the other in Villanueva del Castillo. The university has numerous spaces to hold the workshops, training and other dissemination events described in the impact section. Likewise, the University has all the services, equipment and software necessary to carry out the project without the need to acquire new materials. Through the Faculty of Education, access to facilities such as laboratories, use of computer equipment, use of rooms and other types of spaces for workshops and meetings between consortium members, as well as for conducting experiments related to usability, UX, interaction, etc. will be facilitated.
From pre-university courses (the HST course) to degrees and double degrees, vocational training cycles, university masters, a wide range of specialized postgraduate courses, and different doctoral programs. See all the UCJC's academic offerings.
The Quality Assurance and Evaluation department is committed to continuous improvement and aims to achieve the vision and objectives of the UCJC as defined in the Strategic Plan, while ensuring the level of excellence of its educational institutions. The Camilo José Cela University, committed to innovation, interdisciplinarity and internationalization, is committed to excellence and quality education. For this reason, all the members of the UCJC university community work day by day on a global and integrated management model in all its centers, with the aim of continuously improving the Quality Management System of all the courses offered.
University Camilo José Cela y (UCJC) has always been committed to research and innovation. The university has numerous research groups and professionals with extensive professional experience. Our centers generate research that aims to solve relevant questions and contribute, within a broad framework of disciplines, to address the most pressing and complex challenges facing our society, our industry and our environment. To this end, we have fostered a working environment that supports and facilitates excellence in research, allowing researchers from faculties, schools, centers and institutes to explore the richness of their intellectual concerns and create solutions with global impact, often shared with prestigious national and international external groups. Within this framework, the aim is to promote scientific and technical research that does not focus exclusively on specific objectives, but rather promotes the generation of knowledge from interdisciplinary perspectives.
The university is made up of 4 faculties and schools, with more than 4,849 undergraduate students in 22 programs and 2,232 graduate students in 37 masters and 95 students in 3 doctoral programs. The university employs more than 279 professors and researchers and more than 76 PAS. Of all students, approximately 61 % are women.
From the research activity of the University in recent years, the following projects that have obtained funding in competitive calls should be highlighted:
As a novelty since the academic year 2019-2020 and, in compliance with the open science policy (Law 14/2011, June 1, art. 37, on Science, Technology and Innovation), the commitments on Open Access proposed by the CRUE (2019) and the promotion of the professional career of the PDI UCJC in the framework of scientific research, the award of incentives for impact publications is shown with a total budgeted amount of €10,000.

Another of the activities for the promotion of the research career is framed in the publication of popular science articles that help to complete the scientific curriculum of our researchers. This type of publication brings multiple benefits: on the one hand, the enormous diffusion it has (we are talking about thousands of readers), the possibility of incorporating links to their scientific publications, to which they will give publicity, and the recent inclusion of this type of scientific dissemination articles among the merits for the application of the so-called transfer sexenios.
In addition, the UCJC launches its own internal call for applications with the following results
On the other hand, the following data show the theses read in the last two academic years and those read in the current academic year, where it should be noted that 47% of the researchers in training are international.

In relation to international research stays. The following is the award for international stays in prestigious universities through the Call for Mobility Grants for UCJC Faculty and Doctoral Students. The host countries were: England, Costa Rica, Slovenia, Chile, Italy and Brazil.

International research stays have been affected by the pandemic situation.
Patents and Intellectual Property: The University currently has a registered patent shared with the State Research Agency (No. P201731044) and a utility model. It has also developed an "app" type application: "App CellulAR (Augmented Virtual Reality)" 100% owned by the University.

Please describe how the organisation will contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results
For the dissemination of results and their exploitation, two of the axes of the UCJC educational model will be used:
1- Social commitment
2- Interdisciplinarity
The messages associated with each of them are transversal and will be used in each of the actions. In addition, specific actions are proposed, giving special relevance in these two areas: The generalist media will be contacted and some specialized in education. Agencies and local media will be referents when it comes to giving maximum diffusion. Press releases will be made and contact will be made via e-mail.
• Institutional website and newsletter. Content will be included in our institutional newsletter, previously hosted on the UCJC website ( so that it reaches more than 15,000 subscribers.
