Description of Dissemination Event:

During this week and until mid-May, focus groups will be held in the first phase of the IHES-UPO project, which aims to develop and implement an online programme on inclusion and independent living for people with intellectual disabilities in universities. For the design we will count on the opinion of the stakeholders: undergraduate students, students with intellectual disabilities, teaching staff and PAS (we will use the focus group technique in the FSCLab (https://bit.ly/3vgBoZS)For more information about the project please visit the project website: https://ihes.pixel-online.org/index.php
The focus groups will be facilitated by: Beatriz Macías (undergraduate students), Antonia Corona (teaching staff), Mª Rosa Herrera (administrative and service staff) and Antonio Iáñez (students with intellectual disabilities). Today we have started with the First Focus Group of the IHES-UPO with the turn of undergraduate students moderated by Professor Beatriz Macías.

Outcomes and Results:

The focus groups are fundamental for the design of the intellectual product IO1. Once the 4 groups (one of students, one of teachers, one of non-disabled students and one of administrators) are developed, the recordings are transcribed and analysed by the researchers. The recordings are transcribed and analysed by the researchers.
From the content and discourse analysis, the themes that are developed in the online course that will be the product of the IO1 are obtained.
