Learning objects

Raise awareness of circular knowledge transfer

To reinforce your knowledge in this chapter, we propose the following practical activities:

Activity 1: Reflect on the scenario and answer the questions. Researcher promotes an academic event on the inclusive university for people with intellectual disabilities.

A. Which entities or people should you invite so that the results of the research reach your target audience?

B. Who should be the communicators at the event?

C. What would you recommend for the event to focus on the people and not on the topic of the event?

Activity 2: Visit sites of a university you know on social media and identify topics and formats of knowledge transfer in relation to intellectual disabilities. List the topics and their format and analyse whether the transfer model is linear or circular and reason the answer.
